A few old family photos including Balthazar Getty and his sister Anna that are from a not very nice National Enquirer article about his dad.

Article about Chris Furrh and Balthazar Getty with a picture of them on the set of Lord of the Flies.  I think this is from Teen magazine.

When James Badge Dale was a teen idol…
From Top magazine in an article called “Foxy Finds” that features up & coming actors.  It’s not a bad list to be on. The article also features a then unknown actor named Tobey Maguire.

So far, three of the child actors from Lord of the Flies have transitioned to adult acting careers.  Balthazar Getty, Badge Dale and also Charlie Newmark who played Will.

Charlie is the least known of the group and he’s had minor roles in some short films recently and in the late 90s appeared in guest roles in the tv shows The Nanny and Boy Meets World.

In Lord of the Flies, Charlie played Will, one of Jack’s gang who has light blond hair.  His lines included “Eat shit and die”.  LOL.  I wonder if he includes that on his acting reel?

This is one of the cutest pictures of Balty ever.

Balthazar in Turn of the Screw.  He filmed this right after Lord of the Flies in 1988 but it was released first (in 1989).  IMDb.com now lists this as a TV series for some reason but it was a direct-to-video film.
